Liverpool Youth Action Forum

Liverpool Youth Action Forum
Thu 9 Jul 2026 · Liverpool · In person
Our Youth Action Forum (YAF) bring together employers and partners to share ideas, hear from young people and explore practical ways to create work experience and high-quality employment opportunities for young people across the UK.
This YAF will be hosted in partnership with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) as part of YouthPath, our targeted, place-based initiative, delivered in partnership with regional Combined Authorities in the Liverpool City Region, West Midlands and Greater Manchester. YouthPath supports businesses to create meaningful pathways into work—through work experience, apprenticeships, and job opportunities—for young people aged 16–30 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

The session will showcase the value of collaboration between employers, youth organisations and local authorities, while providing practical insight into inclusive recruitment and engagement practices.

Attendees can expect to:

  • Discover more about Movement to Work and the impact we're making
  • Explore insights about YouthPath and the Liverpool City Region Youth Guarantee Trailblazer region
  • Hear about employer case studies and examples of impact
  • Join interactive discussions focused on improving interview and recruitment experiences for young people
  • Connect with employers & youth engagement partners through networking opportunities

For the first time, we're expanding the attendance of our YAF to include existing MtW members and prospective employers & partners to showcase the collaboration and benefits of being part of our community.

This is an invite only event. If you are already part of the Movement to Work network or exploring how your organisation could support young people through joining our network, we would be delighted to welcome you to Liverpool for this collaborative event.
