We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the Thamesmead Apprenticeship Showcase on Wednesday 18 February, from 1 - 4pm at the Nest Library, Thamesmead.
This showcase is a great opportunity for residents aged 14 - 25 in the area, especially those interested in exploring local apprenticeships and entry-level career paths.
Attendees will have the chance to meet employers directly, ask questions, and learn about opportunities available in their community. Employers taking part include Lovell Construction, Greenwich University, Peabody, and more. You can sign up via this [Eventbrite link]. The event will be interactive, with activities including:
Meeting employers in construction, housing, engineering, and other sectors
Receiving CV, interview, and employability support
Attending myth-busting sessions on apprenticeships
Please share this with your networks and help get the message out so more young people can benefit from the event.
This is a drop-in event, so attendees are welcome anytime between 1 and 4pm. We recommend arriving early to avoid waiting. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to welcoming residents and supporting them as they take the next step in their career journey!
