Your new office

Hays Leicester Construction, Property is home to some of our highest performing consultants in the Central region, based in fantastic city centre offices. Due to the continued growth of our overall Construction & Property division, we are investing further into vertical markets, working within a wider team of over 10 consultants. Hays are true experts in this space, so it is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and accomplished team of consultants, managers and Senior Business Directors. You will have excellent opportunity to shape a business and progress professionally alongside earning a competitive package and uncapped commission. The Opportunity

What can I expect day to day?

We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to join one of our fastest-growing teams in the Central region, based in Leicester.

You’ll be stepping into a high-value Power desk where you’ll nurture long-standing relationships and place in-demand, highly skilled professionals across the UK. Operating within a sector that is seeing significant government investment and long-term infrastructure development, we’re looking for a commercially astute individual to grow a profitable business, placing Contracting Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Engineers and other specialist professionals into temporary assignments across the power and energy sector.

As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:

• Source, interview, and match high-quality candidates to roles
• Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges
• Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
• Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer’s market
• Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays
• Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
