We’re looking for ambitious, sales-driven individuals to join our growing Technology team in Cambridge. You’ll be part of a close-knit team with the backing of a strong regional network, focused on high-growth tech sectors and future skills. The Opportunity

What can I expect day to day?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant to join one of our fastest‑growing teams in our central region, Cambridge.

You’ll be stepping into a high‑value Technology contract desk where you’ll continue to nurture long‑standing relationships and place in‑demand, highly skilled professionals across a large geography. We’re looking for a commercially astute individual to grow an already established and profitable business, placing technology professionals into key roles across the region.

As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:

• Source, interview and match high-quality candidates to roles
• Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges
• Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
• Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer’s market
• Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays
• Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
